Boyer, 88, of Hyndman died March 4, 1982 in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md. She was born at Route 1, Hyndman, on June 1, 1894, and was a daughter of the late Edward and Lucinda (Shroyer) Shroyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Boyer. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hyndman Volunteer Fire Company. She is survived by one son, Charles Boyer, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bryant, Mrs. Patricia Bittner, Mrs. Alma Kennell, and Mrs. Hazel Weimer, all of Route 1, Hyndman; one brother, Danny Shroyer of Somerset; one sister, Mrs. Pauline Ringler of Hyndman; 33 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home with the Rev. David T. Reed officiating. Interment will be in the Comps Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clyde Kennell, Harry Kennell, Joby Kennell, Cliff Shaffer, Bill Bryant and John Weimer. The Republic, March 11, 1982 and Daily American, March 11, 1982 [B2335 and B2336]
