BOYER January 31, 1920-December 30, 2003 Ralph J. Boyer, 83, of Meyersdale, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born January 31, 1920, in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late James and Nora Pearl (Klingaman) Boyer. He is survived by his wife, the former Wilma L. Decker; daughter Pauline J., wife of David Stone, Caledonia, N.Y.; three grandchildren: Stacie Davis, Jennifer Proper and Susan Eadie; six great-grandchildren: Kevin, Matthew, David, Justine, Spencer and Claire. He was a brother of: James Boyer, Orlando, Fla.; and Phyllis Broadwater, Berlin. Ralph was a member of the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett, Brooklyn Hunting Club and Labor Union Local 419. He was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors, his garden and his grandchildren. He was a retired coal miner, farmer and construction foreman. Friends were received Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Service was conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church in Garrett with the Rev. Ralph Landis officiating. Interment, Center Church Cemetery, Garrett. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church, Garrett, PA 15542. Daily American, January 8, 2004 BOYER Ralph J.
