  BOYER
  
  Randy Boyer, 53, of Shiremanstown, formerly of Hooversville, died
  Sept. 24, 2001, at the Harrisburg Hospital.  Born May 18, 1948, in
  Johnstown.  Preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ethel
  (Sebring) Boyer.  Survived by his two brothers, Edward Boyer of
  Friendswood, Texas, and Larry Boyer of Mechanicsburg; also four
  nephews and one niece.  He was a graduate of Forbes Joint High School
  and obtained a master's degree from Shippensburg University.  He was a
  member of the Church of the Brethren in Hooversville.  Employed as a
  manager in the Department of Revenue for the state of Pennsylvania. 
  A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Hooversville
  Church of the Brethren.  Arrangements in charge of the Cremation
  Society.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American
  Cancer Society.
