  ROSS E. BOYER
  
    Ross E. Boyer, 68, Cumberland, Md., formerly of Berlin, died June 8
  at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.
    Born Dec. 12, 1897, in Somerset County, he was the son of the late
  Herman and Sarah (Brant) Boyer.
    He is survived by his widow, former Ruth Chrisner, and two sons,
  Donald E., Saginaw, Mich., and Gene L., Akron, Ohio, and one
  daughter, Mrs. Ardith Justice, Baton Rouge, La.; also five
  grandchildren, brothers Frank and Wilson, both of Berlin and his
  sister Mrs. Bessie Edmiston, Garrett RD 1.
    A retired B & O railroad conductor, Mr. Boyer was a member of the
  Brethren Church, Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and Aerie 245,
  F.O.E., Cumberland.
    Service was conducted June 10 at Johnson and Son Funeral Home,
  Berlin, with Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating.  Interment was in
  Beechdale Cemetery, Garrett RD 1.
