  BOYER, Telford "Ted"  09/09/08  Daily American
  
    Telford "Ted" Boyer, 78, Odessa, Mo., passed away, Sept. 1, 2008, at
  Centerpoint Medical Center. Born May 4, 1930, in Hooversville, the son of
  Charles and Margaret (Schrock) Boyer. He is survived by his wife of 57 years,
  Joan Boyer; children, Telford Boyer Jr. and wife, Amy; Michael Boyer, Jody
  Sotiropoulos and husband, Thomas; Karen Smith; Ron Boyer and wife, Sherry; 16
  grandchildren; and sister, Donna Lee. He worked as a manager for a wholesale
  supply company in Maryland prior to being transferred to Missouri in 1979. He
  was an active member of All Saints Lutheran Church, serving as a past member of
  the board of directors and a 50-year member of the Masons. A memorial service
  will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville, with
  the Deaner Funeral Home to assist. Condolences may be left for the family at
