BOYER November 3, 1914-September 29, 2004 William J. Boyer, 89, of Meyersdale, died Wednesday, September 29, 2004, at Meyersdale Medical Center. He was born November 3, 1914, in Meyersdale, a son of the late Edward J. Boyer and Rebecca (Baker) Boyer. He is survived by his sisters: Ethel Boyer and Blanche Opperman, both of Meyersdale. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Pilot Dog Association, and he ran the concession stand at Meyersdale Manufact-uring since 1935. Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home on Sunday, where funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating. Interment was in the Union Cemetery.
