  WILLIAM M. BOYER
  
    William M. Boyer, 86, 519 Main St., Scalp Level, died Dec. 1, 1983,
  at Memorial Hospital.
    Born June 29, 1897, in Beachdale, he was a son of the late Simon
  and Mary (Gomer) Boyer.
    He was preceded in death by son, Joseph, who was killed in action
  in Korea; sisters, Josephine Hull and Rachel Swauger; and brothers,
  Dan and Melvin.
    Beloved father of Betty J., wife of Martin Washko, with whom he
  resided, and Richard W., married to former Ava Pagano, Long Branch,
  N.J.; also four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    He was a brother of Mrs. Celia Brant, Scalp Level, and Dewey,
  Scottdale.
    Family received friends at The Shank-Dalla Valle Funeral Home,
  Windber, where services were conducted with the Rev. Dennis Miller
  officiating.  Interment, Bedford County Memorial Park.
