Pleasant Street, Frostburg, died June 17, 1974. A native of Eckhart, Md., he was a son of the late Dennis A. and Bernadette (Moore) Boyle. He was employed as a tool maker at Allegany Ballistics Laboratory, Cumberland, and was shop steward and a past vice president of International Chemical Workers, Local 261, a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg, and the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, the former Emily R. Miller, formerly of Meyersdale; four daughters, Barbara A. Boyle, Cumberland; Mrs. Bernadette Simmons, Frostburg; Miss Rosemary Boyle, McLean, Va.; and Miss Ruth A. Boyle, at home; three sons, Joseph E. Boyle, Highfield, Md.; John D. Boyle, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; and Robert William Boyle, at home; also three grandchildren and a sister, Miss Mary A. Boyle of Eckhart. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this (Thursday) morning at 10:30 o'clock in St. Michael's Church. Interment in the parish cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, June 20, 1974 [B2360]
