Born Sept. 2, 1931, in Windber, son of Arthur and Rose (Quinn) boyle. Preceded in death by parents; infant brothers and sisters; son Stephen; grandson David Lehman; sister Patty and brothers Jim, John and Fred. Survived by wife, the former Mary Ann Sabo, Cocoa, Fla.; children Frederick, Windber; Debra, wife of Brad Lehman, Johnstown; and Ann Marie Potts, Florida; nine grandchildren; brother Joe Boyle, Meadville; and sisters Kathryn Davidson, Pittsburgh; Matilda Pitera, Windber; Rose Slovich, Levittown; Betty Mae Wall, Oregon; and Anastasia Boyle; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Boyle retired from Bethlehem Mines and was the owner of the former Aaron & Boyle Appliance Repair. He was a member of Holy Child Jesus Catholic Church, Windber, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, and Altoona/Johnstown Cursillo. He was very involved with the Concerned Citizens for Human Life Movement. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hugh W. Marron Funeral Home, Windber, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Chapel, Windber, (formerly St. Mary Roman Catholic Church), the very Rev. Leonard E. Voytek, V.F., pastor.
