Boyts, 65, of Southington, Ohio died Jan. 4, 2000 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, Ohio. Born July 19, 1934 in Somerset, son of the late Owen Clyde and Pearl (Darr) Boyts. He was also preceded in death by a grandson Brian Boyts, a sister Mary Louise Cook and three brothers, Harold, Earl and Donald Boyts. Survived by his wife Norma Jean Boyts; daughter Linda Berling, Columbus, Ohio; stepdaughter Mrs. George (Sandi) Stofira, Southington, Ohio; son Mark Boyts, Cortland, Ohio; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Boyts has lived in Southington for the past 35 years, formerly of Somerset. He married Norma Jean Knupp on March 3, 1956. He was employed at Packard Electric for 33 years and was a towmotor driver. He loved to camp and was a member of the Somerset Eagles 1801 and the Geneva Eagles 2243. Friends may call the James Funeral Home, Newton Falls, Ohio from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. There will be an Eagles Service at 6:45 p.m. Thursday just before calling hours. Burial will be held at Reformed Cemetery in Southington. Daily American, January 5, 2000 [B2370]
