    Alice J. Bracken, 76, Salisbury, and formerly of Hockessin, Del., died Sept. 29, 2008,
  in Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born April 5, 1932, in Meyersdale, the daughter of
  the late Lewis and Clara (Deist) Baughman. She was  also preceded in death by her husband,
  Bayard Bracken Jr.; two sisters, Mary Louise Engle and Virginia Baughman; and two
  brothers, Lawrence and David Ray Baughman. She is survived by two brothers, Lewis
  Baughman, Somerset, Carl Baughman, Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Grace Short, Salisbury; and
  a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bracken was a waitress and a member of Hockessin
  Firemen's Auxiliary. Friends will be received  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m.  Thursday
  at Newman Funeral  Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon  Highway, Salisbury. A service  will be
  conducted in the funeral  home at 8:30 p.m. Thursday.  The Rev. Thomas Twigg
  officiating.  Friends will be received at  Chandler Funeral Home, Hockessin,  Del., from
  11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Friday. A funeral service will be  Conducted in the funeral home at  1
  p.m. Friday. The Rev. Thomas  Twigg officiating. Interment will be in Hockessin Friends
