Bracken, 70, RD 1, Central City, died August 9 at the Memorial Hospital. She was born January 14, 1904, in Shade Township the daughter of the late Henry and Flora Holsopple Umberger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer E. and son Elmer D. Bracken and Norma. She is survived by a daughter Betty. Wife of Steven Marek of Johnstown; Leona Rogers, Marathon, Fla.; Ruth, wife of Clarence Keller, Central City RD 1; sisters Mrs. Clara Coleman of Scalp Level, Mrs. Lulu Juston of Johnstown and Mrs. Anna Brant of Youngstown, Ohio; a brother Arthur of Chambersburg; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of Graef's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cairnbrook, the Ladies Auxiliary of Central City Volunteer Fire Company, and the Central City Senior Citizens. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Charles E. Brumbaugh Funeral Home in Central City where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. with Rev. Woodrow J.
