Born May 6, 1906 in Somerset Township, a daughter of Milton J. and Anna Maust Shank. Preceded in death by parents, three sisters, Mrs. Pauline Miller, Mrs. Edna Marteeny, and one infant sister. Survived by her husband George E. and these children: Robert S. husband of Helen Long; Somerset RD 5; Elaine, wife of Dale Nicklow, Markleton Rd 1; and Miss E. Marie, at home; six grandchildren, and two sisters, Marie, wife of Clinton R. McCreery, Jennerstown; and Vern Davis, Venice, Fla. Member Somerset Church of the Brethren, the CIC Sunday School Class, Women's Fellowship of the Church, Past Noble Grant of Somerset Rebecca Lodge, and Somerset Grange. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Funeral Service Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Somerset Church of the Brethren. Rev. William N. Hay officiating. Interment Somerset Memorial Park. Body will lie in state in from 12:30 p.m. Wednesday until time of service. Somerset Rebecca Lodge will conduct memorial service Tuesday at 7 p.m. in funeral home.
