    Annabelle Brant, 92, Somerset, died, Feb. 3, 2008, at Westmoreland Regional Hospital,
  Greensburg. Born Oct. 13, 1915, in Salisbury, the daughter of Adam and Susan (Firl)
  Maust. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Howard Jacob Brant, who died Nov. 18, 1987;
  children, Donald R. Brant and William Rogers Brant; and 13 brothers and sisters. Survived
  by Jack H. Brant, Polk, Ohio; Mrs. Jean Welshons, Ligonier; Ronald L. Brant and wife, Sue
  Ellen, Longview, Wash.; Mrs. Larry (Faye) Growden, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Blair E. Brant
  and wife, Lynn, McDonald; Mrs. Rodger (Debra) Durstine, Greensburg;  Mrs. Bill (Sharon)
  Graff, Homer City; 11 grandchildren and  15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carrie Gasper,
  Carlisle; and Ruth Lepley, Meyersdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. A member of Mount
  Laurel United Church of Christ, where she was in the church choir and women's guild. She
  also enjoyed sewing and reading. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
  Hauger- Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday at
  Mount Laurel United  Church of Christ, Boswell. The Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Beer  officiating.
