Born Oct. 13, 1915, in Salisbury, the daughter of Adam and Susan (Firl) Maust. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Howard Jacob Brant, who died Nov. 18, 1987; children, Donald R. Brant and William Rogers Brant; and 13 brothers and sisters. Survived by Jack H. Brant, Polk, Ohio; Mrs. Jean Welshons, Ligonier; Ronald L. Brant and wife, Sue Ellen, Longview, Wash.; Mrs. Larry (Faye) Growden, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Blair E. Brant and wife, Lynn, McDonald; Mrs. Rodger (Debra) Durstine, Greensburg; Mrs. Bill (Sharon) Graff, Homer City; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carrie Gasper, Carlisle; and Ruth Lepley, Meyersdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. A member of Mount Laurel United Church of Christ, where she was in the church choir and women's guild. She also enjoyed sewing and reading. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hauger- Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset. Service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Laurel United Church of Christ, Boswell. The Rev.
