  ARTHUR E. BRANT
  
    Arthur E. Brant, 50, of Hyndman RD 1, died Saturday, September 29,
  1984 at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born in Hyndman Feb. 27, 1934, he was a son of the late William E.
  Brant and Mabel M. (Shilling) Brant Miller.
    Mr. Brant served in the Army from 1956 to 1958.  He was employed in
  the maintenance department of Sears, Roebuck and Company, LaVale, Md.,
  and was a member of Milligan's Cove Christian Church.
    Surviving are his widow, the former Shirley Dietz; one daughter,
  Mrs. Dorothy Corle, at home; two brothers, Ernest R. Brant,
  Williamsport, Md.; Donald E. Brant, Clinton, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs.
  Elizabeth Mae Howsare, Hyndman; Mrs. Jane Troutman, Cumberland RD 1;
  and one granddaughter.
    Friends were received at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home.
    Services were conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Milligan's Cove
  Christian Church by the Rev. Ray Mallow.  Interment in the Hyndman
  Cemetery.
