  MRS. FRED W. BRANT
  
    Mrs. Bertha H. Brant, 76, of 714 Main St., Berlin, died Feb. 3,
  1973, in her home.  Born Oct. 22, 1896, in Fayette County, she was
  the daughter of John and Barbara (Long) Harbaugh.  She was preceded
  in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
    Surviving are her husband, Fred W. Brant, and these stepchildren: 
  Fred H. Brant, Berlin RD 1; Javis Brant, Cleveland, Ohio; Rupple
  Brant, Garrett RD 1; Norwood Brant, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Clark E.
  Hoffman, Somerset RD; Woodrow Brant of Panora, Iowa; Lucy Brant,
  Cleveland, Ohio; and Lawrence Brant of Berlin RD 4.
    Mrs. Brant was a sister of John W. Harbaugh of Mill Run; Mrs. James
  Stuckslager, Uniontown; Mrs. Floyd Thomas, Lake Wales, Fla.; Mrs.
  Clifford Buell, of Beaver; and Bradley Harbaugh of St. Louis, Mo.
    She was a member of Berlin Brethren Church, Willing Workers Bible
  Class and Women's Missionary Society of the Church.
    Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin, with Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. 
  Interment in Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
