  Donald Gene Brant, 71, of Somerset died Nov. 27, 2001 at his
  residence.  Born Nov. 25, 1930 in Somerset.  Son of Robert Clayton
  and Effie Maude (Rose) Brant.  Preceded in death by parents,
  brothers:  Orval, Elwood, Elbert, and twin brother Ronald Brant, and
  two sisters, Pauline L. Will, and Marguerite Ogline.  Survived by
  sister:  Mrs. Fred (Rosaline) Gerhardt of Boulder, Colo., several
  nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.  Member of Grace
  United Methodist Church.  A 1948 graduate of Somerset High School, he
  was a draftsman for General Telephone Co., retiring in 1990 with 33
  years of service.  No viewing or visitation.  A memorial service will
  be conducted at a later date.  Interment, Husband Cemetery. 
  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N.
  Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.  Arrangements by Hauger-Zeigler
