    Dorothy Ellen Brant, 67, Somerset RD 5, died April 25, 1993, in the
  Somerset Hospital.  Born April 5, 1926, in Somerset, daughter of the
  late Freeman Lawrence and Mayme Ruth (Pyle) Menser.  Also preceded by
  a granddaughter, Sara Bowser.  Survived by husband, Keith H. "Shorty"
  Brant, and daughters, Mrs. Thomas J. (Linda) Dorcon Sr., Berlin, and
  Mrs. Karl S. (Vicki) Bowser, Friedens RD 1, and 5 grandchildren -
  Thomas Jr., Lindsay and Nicholas Dorcon and Michael and Jason
  Bowser.  Sister of Richard L. Menser, Mrs. Leroy J. (Doris) Miller,
  Mrs. John H. (Lola) Weimer, all of Somerset RD 5, and Mrs. Charles
  (Della) Baumgardner, Stoystown RD 3.  Retired assistant vice
  president of the County Trust office of PNC Bank, retiring in 1984
  with 38 years' service.  A 1944 graduate of Somerset High School. 
  Member of Grace United Methodist Church where she was on the
  administrative board and had been church treasurer for 28 years. 
  Treasurer of the United Methodist Women.  Member of Crochet Arts
  Guild, Somerset.  Active in "We Care" Cancer Support Group,
  Somerset.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m.
  Thursday at Grace United Methodist Church, with Rev. Charles F. Olson
  officiating.  Viewing at the church from 9 a.m. until time of
  service.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions
  may be made to the Grace United Methodist Church, 126 E. Church St.,
  Somerset, PA 15501.
