Brant, 87, of Rockwood, died July 18, 1999, at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born May 16, 1912, in Black Township, daughter of Archie and Annie (Barclay) Benford. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Ethel Miller, Cora Sanner, Julia Swarner; and brothers, Melvin, Harold, Norman, Phillip and Albert Benford; also an infant sister. Survived by husband, Homer D. Brant. Her passing ends a marriage union of 67 years. Also survived by children: Leon (married to Ethel Brown) Brant, Rockwood; Nancy (married to John B. Jr.) Malcolm of Camp Hill; and Bob (married to Suzanne Haer) Brant of Garrett; grandchildren: Dave and Mark Brant, Tracy Noble and John B. Malcolm III; and a great-grandchildren: Cole and Courtney Brant and Jordan Noble. Half sister of Ronald Benford of Rockwood. Member of Trinity Reformed Church in Rockwood. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Reformed Church, Rev.
