Brant, 71, of Lake Milton, Ohio, formerly of Bakersville, died June 27, 1995, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born May 2, 1924, in Brothersvalley Township, the son of Nevin and Mabel Lenora Brant. Survived by his wife, Sarah L. Brant, Lake Milton; daughters: Mrs. Fred (Kay) Peace, Hubbard, Ohio, and Mrs. Larry (Debra) J. Jones, Newton Falls, Ohio; brother, Ward W. Brant of Sebring, Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Lived in Lake Milton since 1953. He worked at United Dye Manufacturing in Sebring, Ohio, as a shipping clerk. Army veteran of World War II. Member of First Church of God in Newton Falls and American Legion Post 0076 in Sebring. He loved woodworking, sports and golf. Preceded in death by parents and one borther, Nevin E. Brant. Friends may call at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Church of God in Newton Falls. Burial at 2:30 p.m. at Bakersville (Pa.) Cemetery, where a graveside service will be held.
