EMMA MINERVA BRANT

  Mrs. Emma Minerva Brant, 72, wife of F. J. Brant of Glencoe R.D., died 
Tuesday, May 18, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Raupach of 
Connellsville.  She was a daughter of Simon and Catherine (Friedline) Bauman and 
was born on October 19, 1870.  In addition to her husband she leaves three 
children - Mrs. Raupach, mentioned above, Mrs. Edgar Wagner, McKeesport, and 
Raymond Brant, Hyndman.  She was a sister of Aaron Bauman, Youngwood; John 
Bauman, Pitcairn; Mrs. Clara Wagner, Johnstown; Mrs. Linnie Scott, Ruffsdale, 
and Miss Tena Bauman, Glencoe.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the 
Brant home by Rev. N. V. Leatherman, pastor of the Berlin Church of the 
Brethren.  Interment was in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of the 
Johnson Funeral Home of Berlin.
