  ETHEL M. BRANT
  
  Mrs. Ethel M. Brant, 76, Friedens RD 1, died Jan. 28, 1986, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 20, 1909, in Elk Lick
  Township, daughter of the late Calvin and Bertha (Faidley) Sechler. 
  Preceded in death by parents; one son, John Calvin; a daughter,
  Vivian Thomas; a brother, Fay; and sisters, Miss Pauline and Dorothy
  Lichty.  Survived by husband, Wilbert M. Brant; children: Leland G.,
  and Miss Donna Lee, both of Friedens RD 1; and William of Coraopolis;
  11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  Sister of: Margaret
  McVicker, Stoystown RD 1; Catherine Winters, Somerset; and a
  half-sister, Lola Swearman, Meyersdale RD 1.  She was a member of Mt.
  Tabor United Church of Christ, Mt. Tabor Guild and the Seventh Society
  of Farm Women.  Her death breaks a marriage union of 56 years. 
  Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Thursday at
  1:30 p.m., the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh and the Rev. Samuel E.
  Charlton.  Interment, Beulah Cemetery.
