  Franklin Frederick (Tiny) Brant, 63, of Somerset, died March 12,
  1981, in Manatee Hospital, Bradenton, Fla.  Born March 14, 1917, in
  Somerset, Pa., son of Charles and Mabel (Hoover) Brant.  Survived by
  widow, the former Fern Mae Shober, and these children: Roger and
  Jerry of Somerset; James of Friedens RD 2; and five grandchildren. 
  Survived by two brothers, Charles H. of Somerset; and Eugene of
  Somerset RD 2.  Preceded in death by two brothers.  Member of the
  Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset; Somerset Lodge No. 358, F &
  AM; Altoona Consistory; Jaffa Temple; President of Brant Coal Co.,
  Inc.  Friends received after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Richard E. Hauger
  Funeral Home, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m., the Rev.
  John Cox officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
