FRANKLIN J. BRANT

  Franklin J. Brant, 68, well known Northampton Township retired farmer, died 
Thursday morning, April 12, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Raupach in 
Connellsville, where he had resided the past year.  He was in ill health the 
last few months.
  He was born in Northampton Township, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August 
Brant.  His wife, Emma Minerva Brant preceded him in death in May, 1943.
  Surviving are these children: Mrs. Frank Raupach, Connellsville; Mrs. Edgar 
Wagner, McKeesport; one son, Raymond Brant, Hyndman, and one sister, Mrs. Ida 
Bittner, Waterloo, Iowa.
  Friends were received at the Johnson Funeral Home in Berlin, where services 
were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 by Rev. C. G. Shupe, pastor of the 
Connellsville Reformed Church.  He was a lifelong member of the Reformed Church 
in Northampton Township.  Interment in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
