  BRANT
  
  John Parker Brant, 73, of Somerset RD 6, died May 18, 1984, at his
  residence.  Born Aug. 10, 1910, son of the late Bruce and Ida Mae
  (Zimmerman) Brant.  Also preceded in death by four brothers and three
  sisters.  Survived by his wife, the former Irma R. Younkin and two
  sons: Allen of Somerset and Telford of Hubbard, Ohio.  Also survived
  by four grandchildren.  He was a brother of Howard of Somerset and
  Minnie Merrill of Berlin.  He was a retired maintenance man for Akron
  University.  Friends received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday
  from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home
  where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Robert
  McNeel officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
