  John W. (Wils) Brant, 84, Boswell RD 2 died March 8, 1972, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 2, 1887, son of William P. and
  Susan (Brant) Brant.  Preceded in death by first wife, the former Edna
  Paulus, and second wife, the former Edith McKelvy; also a daughter,
  Darl Elizabeth; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. 
  Survived by these children: Mildred, wife of William Carroll, Boswell
  RD 2; Mrs. Sue Manners, Stoystown RD 1; Truman, married to the former
  Leora Thomas, Jerome; Dolly, wife of Walter Kelly, Boswell RD 1;
  Royden Glenn, married to the former Geneva Lohr, Hooversville RD 1;
  and Warren G., married to the former Irene Ream, Annaheim, Calif.; 18
  grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.  Was a brother of Theodore, St.
  Paul, Pa.  A member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club.
