KATHERINE BRANT

  Mrs. Katherine Brant, aged 76, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert 
Letcher, in Somerset, after a long illness. Her husband, James Brant, passed 
away eight years ago.  Surviving are these children:  Mrs. Robert Letcher, with 
whom she resided; Mrs. H. B. Stutzman and Mrs. Samuel Berkley, both of Somerset 
Township, and Oran Brant, of Johnstown.  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Ridge Reformed Church, near Beachdale.  
Interment was in the church cemetery, in charge of Charles R. Hauger, Somerset 
funeral director.
