Brant, 80, of Somerset died March 17, 1975, in St. Francis Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born Feb. 7, 1895, in Shanksville, a son of George and Grace (Baldwin) Brant. Preceded in death by one brother and a son, Donges. Survived by his widow, the former Anna Allen; a daughter, Mrs. Emily Baker of Somerset; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Martha Wannemacher of Johnstown and Mrs. Robert Miles of Somerset. He owned and operated the K.R. Brant Body Shop in Somerset. He was a veteran of World War I and a life member of the American Legion. Friends received after 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Somerset American, March 19, 1975 [B2493]
