  Leora B. (Thomas) Brant, 91, Jerome, died April 18, 2003, at Siemon
  Lakeview Manor.  Born May 2, 1911, in Conemaugh Township.  Preceded
  in death by mother, Lucinda (Stevens) Cable, stepfather, Wesley
  Cable, husband, Truman P. Brant, Nov. 20, 1985; sisters: Trella
  McDaniel and Viola Price; and brother, Robert Cable.  Survived by
  numerous nieces and nephews, including special nieces: Almeda Stetz
  and Fay Ann Keyes.  She was a life-long member of the Maple Spring
  Church of the Brethren, also member of Truth Seekers Sunday school
  class, Conemaugh Township senior citizens and the auxiliary to the
  Jerome Fire Department.  She enjoyed quilting and cooking at the
  Jerome fire hall.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and Church Road,
  Davidsville, viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 1
  a.m. Tuesday at Maple Spring Church near Jerome, with the Rev.
  William W. Wenger officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.  In lieu
  of flowers, donations in Leora's name may be sent to Maple Spring
  Church of the Brethren, 106 Spring Road, Hollsopple, Pa. 15935.
