Born Jan. 7, 1949, in Somerset, a daughter of Emerson Lloyd and Hazel Ruth (Landis) Knepper of Berlin. In addition to parents, survived by husband, James Martin Brant, to whom she was married for 25 years, and three children: Laurie B. Brant, Gregory F. Brant and Scott E. Brant, all of Friedens. Sister of Ronald Knepper of Lagrangeville, N.Y.; David Knepper of Arlington, Va.; Richard Knepper of Keene, N.H., and Thomas Knepper, Fredericksburg, Va. Member of Somerset Alliance Church, where she had been an organist and a member of the choir. A 1966 graduate of Shanksville-Stonycreek High School. A 1970 graduate of Juniata College. Was a teller with County trust office of PNC Bank for 10 years. She also loved gardening with wild flowers. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Somerset Alliance Church, with the Rev. Walter L. Frankenberry officiating. No viewing at the church. Interment, Pike Cemetery, Brotherton. Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.
