  MARIAN L. BRANT
  
    Marian L. Brant, 59, of Somerset RD 8, died Nov. 3, 1983, at Mercy
  Hospital, Johnstown.
    She was born April 14, 1924, in Friedens, daughter of the late
  James and Effie E. (Carlson) Meyers.
    Also preceded in death by a brother.
    She is survived by husband, Claude L.; and two daughters: Kathy
  Louise Weaver and Lesley Wynn Summers, both of Somerset RD 8; five
  grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    She was the sister of: William J., Rockwood; Mrs. Maxine Hartman,
  Barberton, Ohio; and Mrs. Janice Smith, Somerset.
    She was a member of the Somerset Congregation of the Jehovah's
  Witnesses.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where
  services were conducted with John Lebo, speaker, officiating. 
  Interment, Berlin Cemetery.
