  BRANT
  
  Marie E. Brant, 84, of the Siemon Lakeview Manor, formerly of
  Rockwood, died Feb. 5, 1985, in the Somerset Community Hospital.  She
  was born Aug. 5, 1900, in Rockwood, a daughter of William H. and Mary
  Alice (Swarner) Weimer.  She is survived by one son, Homer Brant of
  Johnstown; by three daughters: Mrs. Virginia Keen of Rockwood; Mrs.
  Hazel Ansell of Newport, Pa.; and Miss Janet Brant of Rockwood; also
  survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded
  in death by her husband, Irvin Brant, April 22, 1969; also by one
  son, Marne, March of 1980.  She was a member of the Christ United
  Methodist Church of Rockwood and Firemen's Auxiliary of Rockwood. 
  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday where services will be
  conducted Friday at 10 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Donald Krestar
  officiating.  Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  Arrangements
  are under the direction of the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, with Robert H. Halverson supervising.
