  BRANT
  
    Mary C. Brant, 76, of Vanderbilt, formerly of Rockwood RD 1, died
  Sept. 18, 1996, at McKee Personal Care Home, Vanderbilt.  Born Sept.
  1, 1920, in Meyersdale.  Daughter of the late Daniel and Emma
  (Tressler) Shumaker.  Preceded in death by her husband Ray in 1993; a
  daughter Evelyn; and brothers Howard, William, Clarence and Fred
  Shumaker.  Survived by her two children, Daniel Brant, married to the
  former Joyce Hahn, Uniontown, and Deborah Brant and fiance Ronald H.
  Show, Uniontown; grandson Mark and granddaughter Tammy and
  great-grandchildren John, Samantha, Joshua and Harley.  Also a
  brother Robert Shumaker, Meyersdale.  Member of the Brotherton Church
  of the Brethren.  Former bus driver for the McNelly Bus Company and a
  cook at the former Beacon Restaurant.  Friends will be received 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. today at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset,
  where funeral service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.  The
  Rev. Audrey Bell officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
