MARY C. BRANT

  Mrs. Mary C. Brant, 75, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emil Granke, in 
Akron, O., October 17.  The body was brought to Meyersdale by train, arriving 
Tuesday noon, and was taken to the home of Mrs. Freeman Sarver on Large Street, 
by W. C. Price and Son, Undertakers.  Funeral services were held Wednesday 
afternoon at 2:30 in the Church of the Brethren, Rev. DeWitt Miller, 
officiating.  Interment was in the Union Cemetery.  Mrs. Brant's husband, 
William Brant, died in 1923.  She is survived by four sons, George N., of Buena 
Vista; Solomon, Meyersdale R. D.; Harry, Canton, O.; and Milton, Barberton, O.; 
and by two daughters; Mrs. Harvey N. Trent, Coalport, and Mrs. Emil Granke, 
Akron.  She is also survived by three brothers; Agust Sarver, Listie; Joseph 
Sarver, White Cloud, Mich.; and one sister, Mrs. Frances Lowery, Berlin.
