  BRANT
  
  Mrs. Mary Ellen Brant, 55, of Somerset RD 2 (Roof Garden Heights),
  died Sept. 1, 1974, in the Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 4,
  1919 in Shade Township, daughter of the late Edmund and Annie Barnett
  Shaver.  She is survived by L. Eugene Brant and these children: Ronald
  E. of Freemont, Ohio; Mrs. Jeffry (Melanie) Heiple and Mrs. Richard
  (Beverly) Adams both of Somerset; and two grandchildren.  Preceded in
  death by one brother.  Member of the First United Methodist Church,
  V.F.W., and Legion Auxiliary.  Friends are being received at the
  Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be held Wednesday
  at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Donald Lash, officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
