NELSON D. BRANT

  Nelson D. Brant was born March 9, 1855, and died April 4, 1932, aged 77 years 
and 23 days.  He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Domer Brant, who resides at 
the family home in Meyersdale, and the following daughters, Mrs. Gust Lindeman, 
Meyersdale; Mrs. William Snyder, Pittsburgh; Mrs. J. Sullivan, Pittsburgh; Mrs. 
Susan Stump, Pittsburgh; Mrs. George Campbell, Pittsburgh; and Mrs. H. M. 
Lawver, Ventner, N.J.; also by two brothers, Ephraim Brant and William Brant, 
both of Jennerstown, and one sister, Mrs. Jane Groft of Berlin R.D.  There are 
ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held Thursday, April 7, at 2 p.m., Rev. Howard K. Hilner 
officiating.  Interment in the Union Cemetery under the direction of Funeral 
Directors R. Reich & Son.
