  BRANT
  
  Norman L. Brant, 80, Garrett RD 1, died Aug. 31, 1986, Allegheny
  General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Oct. 12, 1905, in Black Township,
  a son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth (Sheeler) Brant.  He is
  survived by his wife, the former Orretta Haer; and these children:
  Carl of Rockwood; Norman, Jr., Medina, Ohio; Mrs. Virginia Arnold,
  Garrett RD 1; Mrs. Geraldine Stahl and Mrs. Shirley Varchetti, both
  of Somerset; also, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  A
  sister of Homer, Rockwood, and Mrs. Freda Reiley of Michigan.  Friends
  will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral
  Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
  Wednesday with the Rev. Donald Judy officiating.  Interment, Center
  Church Cemetery.
