  RAY G. BRANT
  
    Ray G. Brant, 86, Somerset, died Oct. 30, 1998, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Sept. 2, 1912, in Brothersvalley Township, son of
  Grant M. and Nannie M. (Knupp) Brant.  Preceded in death by parents,
  his wife, the former Goldie A. Miller, brothers: Paul, Ira and Homer
  Brant, sisters: Susan Miller and Norma Schreffler.  Survived by these
  children: Doris, married to Charles E. Sanders; Ada M., married to
  Joseph A. Miller, and Marilyn J. married to Kenneth J. Miller, all of
  Somerset; and Dalton J., Friedens; grandchildren: Charles M. Sanders,
  Amos J., Amanda R. and Joshua W. Miller; Bradley J. and Melissa J.
  Brant.  Brother of: John C. Brant, Zepher Hills, Fla.; and Maola
  Rose, Confluence.  He retired from Stern Building Supply, Friedens. 
  Member of First Christian Church of Somerset.  Family will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, with the
  Rev. Daniel F. Nicksich officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery,
  Shanksville.  Memorial contributions may be given to First Christian
  Church, 139 East Main St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
