  BRANT, Robert E. (Bunky)  02/05/05  Daily American
  
  Robert E. Brant (Bunky) 83, died Feb. 2, 2005 at his home in Mauldin, S.C.
  Preceded in death by his parents James L. and Ruth (Winscott) Brant, two
  sisters Ruth McClung and Ocie Lee Judy and one brother James. He is survived by
  his wife of 60 years, Eileen (O'Neil) Brant, four children, Robert Jr.,
  Pittsburgh; Jean Claycomb, Elaine, married to Larry Larimer, and James, married
  to Kathy (Smith) all of Mauldin, C.S., as well as seven grandchildren and four
  great-grandchildren. Operated the Brant Insurance Agency until retirement.
  Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Member of the American Legion,
  VFW, and Eagles. Viewing will be at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at St. Peter's
  Catholic Church on Monday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Somerset Memorial
  Park. A vigil for the deceased will be held Sunday at 3:45 p.m. at Miller
  Funeral Home. Donations may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville County,
  113 Mills Ave., Greenville, SC 29605.
