    ROLLIN E. BRANT
    
    Rollin E. Brant, 69, Berlin, died Sept. 30, 1976 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  He was born Jan. 2, 1907 in Glencoe, the son of
  the late Joseph A. and Dora (Emerick) Brant.  Preceded in death by
  his wife, the former Cecilia Berkey, three brothers and a sister. 
  Survived by a daughter, Luella Phillips of Pittsburgh, a
  granddaughter, Mrs. Marti (Janie) Blaire, also these sisters and
  brother: Mrs. Richard (Naomi) Yoder, Somerset; Mrs. Bert (Viola)
  Dedaker, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Ruth Kinsinger, Uniontown and Joseph
  A., Little Orleans, Md.  He was a member of the Trinity United Church
  of Christ, Berlin and the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department and the
  American Legion Post in Berlin, both since 1944, Auxiliary Police of
  Somerset County, the Mountain Field and Stream Club of Roxbury, the
  New Baltimore Sportsman's Club, the Firemen Relief Association and
  Somerset AAA Motor Club.  Berlin Firemen's memorial service at 7:30
  p.m. Saturday.  Friends are being received in the Johnson and Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday
  with the Rev. Charles W. Sigler officiating.  Interment, Beachdale
  Cemetery.  Military services will be conducted by the Berlin American
  Legion and VFW Posts.
