Brant, 53, of East Main Street, Somerset, died April 29, 1984, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Nov. 25, 1930, the son of Robert C. Brant, Somerset, and the late Maude Effie (Rose) Brant. Survived by two children, Ronnie II and Holly Jo; and these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Marguerite Ogline, Elbert and Donald, all of Somerset RD 5; Elwood of Berlin; Mrs. Pauline Will and Orval of Somerset; and Mrs. Fred (Rosaline) Gerhardt of Boulder, Colo. Member of Grace United Methodist Church; American Legion Post 7295; VFW of Berlin; past commander of VFW Post 554, Somerset. Veteran of the Korean War. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. H. Wayne Beam officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society or the Somerset Community Hospital Hospice Association.
