He was born Aug. 26, 1962, in Somerset, the son of the late Leland Glenn and Marilyn Joyce Shaffer Brant. Survivors include his beloved wife Connie B. Huzela Brant; his children, Alexander M. Brant, Angela M. Brant, Arthur M. Clark, James L. Fine Jr. and wife, Sarah, and Amanda R. Fine; step grandson, James Sebastian Bruce Fine; brothers, Kevin W. Brant and wife, Nellie, Arizona; Mark E. Brant, Harrisburg; John A. Brant, Champion; Brian L. Brant, Somerset and David M. Brant, Somerset; also several nieces and nephews. A 1980 graduate of Somerset High School, Thomas was employed by Tregembo Ford in Bentleyville as a F&I Manager. He attended Gospel Alliance Church in Charleroi and the Mostoller United Methodist Church in Kimmelton. Thomas loved to write poetry, was an avid history buff and loved nature, music and cooking. He had dreams of opening his own restaurant someday. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 until 11 a.m., the time of service, Tuesday in the Anthony L.
