  Todd R. Brant, 76, Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of Friedens, a loving
  husband, father and grandfather, died Feb. 17, 2005, at Somerset Hospital. Born
  Feb. 13, 1929, in Berlin, son of Mary E. (Maust) Brant of The Heritage at
  Siemon's and the late Theodore Brant. Survived by his wife of 51 years, the
  former Janet Pile; children: Pamela, married to Gregory Baker, Haslett, Mich.;
  Kirsten, married to Kenneth Hauger; and Randal, married to the former Michele
  Peterson, both of Friedens; and grandchildren who knew him as "Poppy," Daniel
  and David Baker, Kristy, Kayla and Kordell Hauger, Brooke, Deacon, Torie and
  Dylan Brant. Also survived by sisters, Doretta Wiltrout and Faith Maluchnick;
  and brothers, Eldon, Neil and Samuel Brant. He is a Korean War Army veteran,
  having served with the 40th Infantry Division. No viewing. Family will receive
  friends from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Monday at Friedens Lutheran
  Church. The Rev. Edward V. DeVore officiating. Interment Somerset County
  Memorial Park. No flowers please. Memorials may be given to Friedens Lutheran
  Church Community Ministry Fund, Friedens, PA 15541. Arrangements by Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown.
