Brant, 69, 271 Fifth St., Jerome, died unexpectedly the evening of Nov. 20, 1985, at home. Born Jan. 5, 1916, in Ralphton, son of John Wilson and Edna (Paulus) Brant. Preceded in death by parents; infant twin sister; sister, Susan Manners; brothers: Glenn and Warren. Survived by widow, the former Leora Thomas. Brother of: Mildred, widow of William Carroll, Boswell RD 2; Dolly, widow of Walter Kelly, Boswell RD 1. Member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren, Senior Citizens of the church, Boswell Post 461 American Legion and Jerome Volunteer Fire Department. Employee of Sliding Rock Golf Course. Army veteran of World War II. Friends were received Thursday evening and will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and until noon Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. Service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Maple Spring Church, where viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of service, with the Rev. R. Eugene Miller officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
