  BRANT
  
    William M. Brant, 85, of West Race Street, Somerset died Feb. 7,
  1999 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Nov. 8, 1913 in
  Milford Township.  Son of William and Hulda (Enfield) Brant. 
  Preceded in death by parents, and an infant son.  Also sisters Lula
  Ream, Daryle Menser, Laura Snyder, Gladys Pyle and Iva Growall and
  brothers Charles and Harold Brant.  Survived by wife of 63 years, the
  former Mary Kreger, daughter Patricia married to John H. Kelly,
  Columbia, Md., and numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of the
  Somerset IOOF Lodge 438 where he was a past noble grand.  Member of
  the Somerset Lions Club where he received the Melvin Jones Fellowship
  Award, the highest honor in Lionism.  Member of Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Somerset where he was a past member of the church council. 
  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at 11
  a.m. Wednesday.  Pastor Robert Hoover officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Somerset Lions Club will hold a
  memorial Service at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
