Brant, 63, Moon Township, died Oct. 27, 2001 at his residence. Born Feb. 20, 1938 in Friedens, son of the late Wilbert and Ethel (Sechler) Brant. Also preceded in death by a sister, Vivian Thomas, and two brothers, John and Leland Brant. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Phyllis (Kunkle) Brant; sons, Michael W. Brant and his wife, Deborah of Virginia, and Christopher A. Brant of Moon Township; and granddaughters, Jacquelyn and Kristina Brant of Virginia. Brother of Donna Lee Brant of Friedens and halfbrother of Olean Boyer of Stoystown. Member of St. Phillips Episcopal Church, Moon Township. He was an air traffic controller for 25 years after retiring in 1986 from the FAA. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Visitation from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Copeland's Moon Township Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Road. Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Phillips Episcopal Church. Everyone please meet at the church. Further visitation from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Beulah Church, followed by a graveside service in Beulah EUB Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allegheny Valley School, 1996 Ewing Mill Road, Moon Township, Pa., 15108, or St. Phillips Episcopal Church, 1522 Coraopolis Heights Road, Moon Township, Pa., 15108.
