Brant, 86, 104 Orchard St., Johnstown, died March 21, 1983, at Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 25, 1896, in Somerset County, son of the late Irvin and Malissa (Glessner) Brant. Preceded in death by first wife, former Edna Young; second wife, former Winifred Morley; two brothers and two sisters. Survived by widow, Anna Jane Morley; son, Wallace W. Brother of: George E. Brant and Mrs. Anna Pyle, both of Somerset; and Mrs. Catherine Martz, LaVale, Md. Retired safety engineer from Bethlehem Steel Corp., with 46 years of service. Member of Moxham Lutheran Church; Cambria Lodge 278, F&AM; Williamsport Consistory; Kiwanis Club; Post 294, American Legion. Past president and member of board of directors of Mid-state Motor Club. Veteran of World War I. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, the Rev. Vernon Miller.
