Franklin Ave., Somerset, died Nov. 24, 1980, at Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born July 3, 1906, son of the late Samuel G. and Essie M. (Cober) Braucher. Also preceded in death by daughter, Nancy Braucher VonDreele, who died in 1969, and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Picking and Mrs. Edna Bittner. Survived by wife, the former Sara A. Cover. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Somerset Lodge No. 358, F and AM, Harrisburg Consistory, Jaffa Temple, American Legion, V.F.W., Somerset County Bar Association, Somerset Volunteer Fire Company. Veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. Graduate of Somerset High School, Bucknell University, George Washington Law School and had attended Harvard during Navy Training School. Partner in law firm of Braucher, Keim and Saylor. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Husband Cemetery, the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating.
