Patriot Street, Somerset, died Jan. 2, 1985, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Sept. 14, 1899, in Somerset Township, son of the late William and Mary (Berkley) Braucher. Preceded in death by parents and two sisters. Survived by his wife, the former Ruth Berkebile; daughter, Bonita, wife of Lee Pfrogner, Griffin, Ga.; son, Jack E., Harrisburg; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Emma Young, Johnstown; Uriah, Chambersburg; and Dwight, Stow, Ohio. Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren, and a retired employee of Pa. Turnpike Commission. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m., the Rev. Roger L. Forry.
