Born March 22, 1907 in Standardsville, Va. A homemaker and member of Painesville Baptist church. Survived by 3 sons: Shirley (Doris) Breeden of Charleston, W.Va.; Bill (Irene) Breeden of Euclid, Ohio; Gary Breeden of Mentor, Ohio; 3 daughters, Hazel (Emory) Workman of Fairport Harbor, Ohio; R. Jewell Short of Mentor, Ohio; Drema (James) Ashbrook of Boswell; 2 daughter-in-laws: Betty Breeden and Dora Breeden of Euclid, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by husband, James E.; 4 sons: James, Chester, Jesse and an infant son; daughter, Carolyn Breeden; grandson, Eddie Breeden; granddaughter, Roberta Short; son-in-law, Clarence Short. Services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at The Brunner, a Golden Rule Funeral Home, Mentor, Ohio, 44060. Officiant will be Pastor James Mayes of Painesville (Ohio) Baptist Church. Visiting hours 2-4 to 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment, Mentor Cemetery Mentor, Ohio. Contributions may be made to the Painesville Baptist Church, 140 Park Road S.
